25 YEARS IN BUSINESS!

This year marks 25 years since Elma Fenton Landscape Architect & Garden Designer have begun its journey—turning large and small landscapes into places of beauty, purpose, and connection.

Starting from a shipping container office and moving through a few funky Dublin studios, we’ve found that working remotely anywhere enhances our creativity and passion.

The path has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding. We’ve worked across a diverse range of sites: schools, urban spaces, heritage grounds, tight urban courtyards, and open rural landscapes. Some of the most memorable moments have come from tackling the most difficult briefs.

Our award-winning show gardens have also played a special role in our practice. These high-pressure, high-impact projects gave us a platform to explore bold ideas, and the recognition they brought helped push our design thinking even further.

A huge part of our success has come from collaboration—with architects, engineers, suppliers, and contractors. Working closely with architects from the very early stages has been key to creating truly integrated spaces. And none of our projects could happen without skilled contractors and trusted suppliers who care as much about quality as we do.

Above all, we’re grateful to our clients. Whether private homeowners, public institutions, or design teams, each has brought vision and trust to the process. Designing landscapes is an evolving conversation—and those relationships have shaped who we are today.

As we celebrate 25 years, we’re looking forward to what comes next. The future of landscape architecture is filled with opportunity—and we’re excited to keep growing, learning, and creating spaces that matter.

Thank you for being part of our journey
